Tracking down trigger factors

The hunt for substances which can trigger allergies virtually demands detective skills. The connection between a foreign substance and its role in causing an overreaction is not always clear cut.

Allergy trigger factors are mostly pollen, mites, animal hair, moulds, foods, insect poison or chemicals.

We carry out the standard skin tests (prick, scratch and rubbing, as well as intracutaneous tests and/or epicutaneous tests) for clarification in our practice. In addition, there are also various blood testing procedures (RAST and ECP) and other provocation tests.
