A pigment change can have different faces. The classic pigment changes include freckles, age spots and birthmarks. It is not always obvious to a layperson whether the pigment change is benign or malignant. A visit to the doctor is advisable in any case.
In our practice, we rely on careful diagnostics by means of reflected-light microscopy or tissue sampling to rule out the possibility that the pigment change is a precancerous lesion or even skin cancer. In cooperation with a reliable laboratory, we work out a reliable diagnosis for you.
